Hi! I'm Priya, a third-year BMedSc (Hons) student at UoA with a passion for making the science behind medicine feel genuinely approachable. I struggled through Stage 1 myself and know exactly which concepts trip people up — so I tailor every session to where you actually are, not where the textbook assumes you should be.

I've worked with 38 students across BIOSCI, CHEM and MEDSCI papers, and the feedback I hear most is that students leave sessions feeling actually confident, not just temporarily less lost. I focus a lot on building mental models rather than rote memorisation — that approach tends to hold up much better under exam pressure.

Outside of tutoring I work as a research assistant at the Liggins Institute, so I stay current with everything from cell signalling to metabolism. Whether you need help with exam technique, assignment strategy, or just working through a tricky concept, I'm happy to meet you where you are.
